At THE BALANCE, we offer patients a new and unique approach to health called holistic medicine. We do not treat diseases or symptoms, we treat the whole person. The patient’s symptoms are always considered to be caused by an underlying dysfunction that can be remedied by stimulating the body’s regulatory forces. Complimentary therapies including art therapy, equine-assisted therapy, music therapy, brain training, acupuncture, massage, personal training, mindful relaxation are all designed to help relax and enable you to build a healthier lifestyle. Our nutritionists will design a specific diet to help with your weight loss and a fitness program tailor-made for you will enable you to reach and maintain your ideal weight. Lifestyle and mindfulness techniques will help you recognize and change unhealthy behaviors.

At THE BALANCE, we understand that often the real work is needed at home. It is normal to feel calm and collected during meditation but easily angered by our own family. We can help you to address your upbringing and family life. Through a deep exploration of the needs of the individuals and the family collective, you will learn new skills to help improve relationships. We offer intensive family therapy, group discussions, and various workshops, helping each relearn how to listen and respond without judgment, opening up new avenues for communication.
